How do I set up Brevo so its email passes DMARC?

Publish the records Brevo shows in your account for your domain.

01

What does Brevo ask me to publish?

Brevo will detect your provider, add the required DNS records (Brevo code, DKIM, DMARC), and verify the configuration.

Brevo makes the values for your account, so we do not print any here.

02

Where in Brevo are my values shown?

In Brevo, click the account dropdown and select Settings > Senders, Domains, IPs > Domains .

In Brevo, open the account dropdown and go to Settings, then Senders, Domains, IPs, then Domains.

Copy each value from there exactly as shown, and add each record at your DNS host.

03

Will p=reject block Brevo email?

Your domain should have only one DMARC record .

Not once Brevo signs your email with your domain's DKIM key. DMARC passes when a message passes DKIM or SPF for your own domain, and the DKIM records Brevo gives you are on your domain.

Brevo says a domain should have only one DMARC record.

If the domain already has a DMARC record, automatic setup asks before it puts Brevo's record in its place.

Brevo says SPF and MX records are not needed to authenticate a domain. They are given only when you set up a dedicated IP.

Brevo also asks that your domain has a DMARC record. A domain has one DMARC record: if you have one, keep it and do not add another.

Before you raise your policy, read your DMARC reports and check that email from Brevo passes.
