How do I set up Freshsales so its email passes DMARC?

Publish the records Freshsales shows in your account for your domain.

Last read from the sources at the foot of this page.

01

What does Freshsales ask me to publish?

Emails sent from Freshsales would by default include via freshsales.io in the From address when your recipients receive them. If you'd rather not have this displayed in your emails, you could create DKIM records in your domain.

Freshsales makes the values for your account, so we do not print any here.

02

Where in Freshsales are my values shown?

To add and verify your email domain in Freshsales, Go to Admin Settings > Domain Verification > Click the Add domain button

In Freshsales, go to Admin Settings, then Domain Verification, and add your domain.

Copy each value from there exactly as shown, and add each record at your DNS host.

03

Will p=reject block Freshsales email?

A message satisfies the DMARC checks if at least one of the supported authentication mechanisms: 1. produces a "pass" result, and 2. produces that result based on an identifier that is in alignment

Not once Freshsales signs your email with your domain's DKIM key. DMARC passes when a message passes DKIM or SPF for your own domain, and the DKIM records Freshsales gives you are on your domain.

Before you raise your policy, read your DMARC reports and check that email from Freshsales passes.
