In plain words
The standard gives it for more than one SPF record, more than 10 DNS lookups, or a record that is written wrongly. Every message gets the same result until the record is put right.
Why it matters to a firm
It usually starts when a new service is added as a second record instead of inside the one record the domain has.
The check behind the finding
nslookup -type=txt yourfirm.ca Count the lines that start v=spf1. There must be exactly one.
