After you remediate a finding, use the dashboard to confirm the exposure is no longer present.
How to reverify
- Open the finding in your audit dashboard.
- Click I've done this to mark your side complete.
- Click Reverify. We re-check the same source that originally surfaced the finding.
Possible results
- Resolved — the exposure is gone from the source we checked.
- Mitigated — the data still exists (historical breach record) but the credential has been rotated, so it is no longer usable.
- Still present — the exposure remains. The dashboard explains what specifically still needs to change.
When reverify keeps failing
If reverify consistently returns "Still present" despite your changes, the source may be cached or you may have fixed a different instance. Email [email protected] with the finding ID and we will investigate manually within one business day.
