What is FinCEN's Rapid Response Program, and can I contact FinCEN directly?
It is how FinCEN works with its counterparts abroad to stop and return money sent overseas by cyber-enabled fraud.

What does FinCEN's fact sheet say?
RRP is a partnership between FinCEN, U.S. law enforcement, and foreign partners working together to help victims and their financial institutions recover stolen funds sent abroad as the result of cyber-enabled fraud.
Please do not contact FinCEN directly.
Law enforcement reviews the complaint and refers the case to FinCEN, activating the RRP.
How soon does it need to know?
The 72 hours run from the transaction, and the clock is about the report to law enforcement. Your bank is still the first call.
FinCEN is most likely to be able to interdict or recover funds when fraudulently induced wire transfers are reported to law enforcement within 72 hours of the transaction.
What can an outside reading tell you after a payment fraud?
An outside reading cannot see your mailboxes, so it cannot tell you whether someone signed in to one.
It can show three things that bear on how a fraud like this reaches a firm: whether your DMARC record tells mail servers to refuse mail forged in your name, which look-alike domains of yours are registered, and which addresses at your domain are listed in breach data from other services.
