How do I set up Drip so its email passes DMARC?
Publish the records Drip shows in your account for your domain.
Last read from the sources at the foot of this page.
What does Drip ask me to publish?
Custom Sending Domains authenticate your email sending with your own domain so emails are no longer sent as "via Drip.com" in the byline.
Drip makes the values for your account, so we do not print any here.
Where in Drip are my values shown?
To change your sending domain: Go to Settings > Email Setup Click Sending Domain Click Change Sending Domain
In Drip, go to Settings, then Email Setup, then Sending Domain.
Copy each value from there exactly as shown, and add each record at your DNS host.
Will p=reject block Drip email?
DMARC Requires A Custom Sending Domain DMARC is a fantastic security measure for protecting your domain from being spoofed, but when DMARC is involved, you must absolutely setup a Custom Sending Domain.
Not once Drip signs your email with your domain's DKIM key. DMARC passes when a message passes DKIM or SPF for your own domain, and the DKIM records Drip gives you are on your domain.
Drip says that if DMARC is in place, you must set up a custom sending domain, or its mail fails your DMARC policy.
Drip also asks that your domain has a DMARC record. A domain has one DMARC record: if you have one, keep it and do not add another.
Before you raise your policy, read your DMARC reports and check that email from Drip passes.
