How do I set up GetResponse so its email passes DMARC?

Publish the records GetResponse shows in your account for your domain.

01

What does GetResponse ask me to publish?

Custom DKIM is not required to be able to send messages through GetResponse. You will still be able to send messages using a from field address on your domain, which will be sent with a GetResponse DKIM key

GetResponse makes the values for your account, so we do not print any here.

02

Where in GetResponse are my values shown?

In the GetResponse Dashboard, click Profile >> Emails and Domains . Go to Email addresses tab and click Actions menu (3 dots) next to the domain name you would like to generate the DKIM key for. From available options select View TXT records .

In GetResponse, click Profile, then Emails and Domains, open the Email addresses tab, click the Actions menu next to your domain, and select View TXT records.

Copy each value from there exactly as shown, and add each record at your DNS host.

03

Will p=reject block GetResponse email?

DKIM must be configured properly before DMARC is configured, while SPF is optional.

Not once GetResponse signs your email with your domain's DKIM key. DMARC passes when a message passes DKIM or SPF for your own domain, and the DKIM records GetResponse gives you are on your domain.

GetResponse says DKIM must be set up properly before DMARC, while SPF is optional.

If you choose automatic setup, GetResponse adds a DMARC policy of none when no correct policy exists yet.

Before you raise your policy, read your DMARC reports and check that email from GetResponse passes.
